Tenrikyo-Ofudesaki - Family Recipe - Preparation Time
There are not many key words that appear in all seventeen books of Poems; a key one that is perhaps easily overlooked is "quickly". This then is the recipe for intentionally and quickly returning the mind to its original pristine condition. It is also the same for a service that leads to unintentionally awakening to single hearted salvation but since this is meant to be an intentional service of deep pondering and reasoning the emphasis here is on quickly and intentionally awakening.
There are recipes around that have preparation times that might include an entire lifetime of preparation or even a completion time for the recipe that projects into a later lifetime. The choice is up to us of course but for sincerely making this particular recipe I would suggest finding one that shows the way to quickly awaken as it is more in line with the authentic family recipe.
Note the use of the word everything in the poem below. Knowing and understanding the true origin of the mind is the same as knowing the origin of everything in detail. Think about that. Nothing is known without original consciousness.
