Tenrikyo-Ofudesaki - Sure Guides to Understanding the Intention of the Poems

Sure Guides to understandingWe will step through the “Guides” one at a time with the expectation that with repetition and recollection each “guide” will come to mind in such a way that each of the Poems can enjoyed and  be rightly understood as their application in the world becomes clear.

It is reasonable to expect that gradually the “Guides” will come to mind in reference to more and more of our day to day circumstances that might at first appear to have nothing to do with the poems. Eventually there will come a time when the Poems are no longer consciously recalled to mind and instead have settled as being understood. Each one then being a new foundation for understanding the multitude of truths that support the regular day to day way in which we use our mind to make our way in the world.

Finally, as a result of sincere effort, a mind that has settled each of the “Guides” as being understood - by understood is meant that is there is no calling of the Guide to mind yet it fundamentally colors and determines the state of our mind at that moment -  is then able to be opened to the way of reasoning the flows from knowing and understanding just the one original truth, the true and original origin of the mind, the truth of self and of all things in detail.

Dear reader, please look for forward in anticipation as your causality has brought you this far and your true and original self is clearing the path and lovingly awaiting your return.

Day after day, listen to the teachings of God step by step
and enjoy them. It is the Divine Record.
