Tenrikyo Ofudesaki - Various Paths All Taught by Moonsun -
We can consider the "paths" spoken of as being the various paths of human minds in all times and places and ponder:
Since we have not been able to find joy in the various ways that we have used our minds our original parent desires to repair the creation of human beings by replacing the foundation of the human mind, the self-centered imagination, with the knowledge and understanding of the truth of its origin in the mind of our original parent.
That original parental mind has always been present at the heart and core of our mind but we have up until now taken it for granted and have not been familiar with its free and unlimited workings; as we imagine that our self-centered imagination centered in our body is the total truth of self.
That we continue to complain and ask for help, while all the while misunderstanding and denying the help and repair that is offered is the regret of our original parent who, in continuing to support the free workings of the self-centered imagination without discrimination, has no choice but to watch us continue to needlessly suffer.
Ponder the regret of our parent who is watching from our innermost heart. Our suffering is the unintended result of mistaken use of self-centered imaginings, all of which have been taught by our original parental consciousness with the intention that they deliver the experience of free and unlimited joyous life.
The answer to our complaints and pleas for help is the repair and replacement of the self-centered imagination by returning it to its manufacturer to be upgraded with the fundamental knowledge and understanding of its true origin. That return can only be to one "place" (a metaphor) the original consciousness that the self-centered imagination rises up and appears reflected within.
