can clearly be read as "I am going to teach you about the origin of your
mind. That is your mind before you accumulated any ideas as truths of your
world. Be advised, do not mix those already accumulated truths of your world
in with my teaching. This is intended to be a totally fresh start from the
original conscious light and foundation of your thinking."

and in a place when and where a Lunar Calendar was still in use and I suspect that the 26th of the month has to do with
a reference to the phase of the Moon on the 26th day that would have been easily
recognized by the a reader in that time and place but which is now lost
to us as we are accustomed to use a Solar Calendar.
