will come up as a part of a major metaphoric theme but I want to introduce
it now so that the reader will have an opportunity to savor it and enjoy it
when it comes up again both in individual poems and thematically.
In brief to teach of things after they appear in the world is to teach of things that have already appeared in the human mind and imagination. To teach about things before they appear is to teach about the original consciousness that the mind, imagination rises out of an appears reflected within. Take a moment now and sort out the truth of appearance before and after through your own mind. It is very cool isn't it.
To imagine that this is about reading or telling futures is an example of a shallow worldly common reading of this poem.
