Tenrikyo-Ofudesaki - True Origin of Water -
Hopefully by now we can agree that in these poems "water" appears as a metaphor for the human mind and the ideas of the self-centered imagination are the "mud and debris" that over time have accumulated within it and are effectively depressing and obscuring the original conscious "heart" and "core".
Some topics then for self reflection and to think about deeply:
The poems below are a restatement of Book I: Verse 2 That is to say that we don't know about the origin of our mind because we were never previously taught about it.
The actual conversation about the origin of the human mind will be diverse and varied according to the time, place and level of maturity of the self-centered imagination that is engaged in it. Note that God, our original consciousness, intends to employ all means to inform our minds of this truth of their origin so that we can all enjoy a free upgrade that will allow us to play freely and joyously in the world.
Since the real truth of the origin of the human mind has been previously unknown and untaught none of the ideas that currently inhabit the human imagination as common truths of the world will serve as an understanding of it; in this regard we have to be careful because even now there are some ancient and venerable truths of the world offered as the truth of origin. Fortunately we have been provided with a sure "test" so that we can easily distinguish the original consciousness from the imagined idea, that is the "test" that is the totally purified "mind like clear water".
When both the true conscious origin of the human mind and the self-centered imagination reflected within it are identified, known and understood, that is poetically knowing the mind of "Moonsun". Check it out for yourself and see.
