Tenrikyo-Ofudesaki - Sure Guides - I Have Begun What is Known as Sermons
We will visit variations on these poems many times in these "Guides" as they reflect important features of our common misunderstanding of the original parental mind. Please ponder this poem deeply.
First: Everything is what God says or does and that includes being the cause of our lack of knowledge of the true conscious origin of our mind.
Second: God is not hostile to the various sermons that God has begun around the world. We can go and hear them if we so desire. If however we want to know and understand the true origin of our mind we are instructed that those various ideas and truths that are created and are seen in and by the power of the imagination are not the truth of origin.
Third: The "Sermons" spoken of are the various moral and ethical teachings that are common to all human societies. They can and should perhaps be viewed as being temporary truths for temporary purposes. Recall that as various human groups have come in contact with each other those temporary truths are often seen to be in conflict with each other. Which is one of the reasons why it is time to upgrade to the knowledge and understanding of the true conscious origin of the human mind which exists prior to any thoughts and ideas.
